Professional Development Day
We had Mel along for a corporate professional development day on Waiheke Island (a group of roughly 40).
Mel’s Mindful Yoga session was an absolute highlight for our people – the room instantly felt like a safe and calming space when she began, we were taken out of our comfort zone in a way that felt comfortable and well-supported (breathing exercises, making loud noises to release tension, laughing at the top of our lungs) many of our staff mentioned they were initially nervous about this session as they had never done mindful yoga before and didn’t know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised and left with the technique’s on what to do when in a stressful/busy environment (common in our line of work) these tools are still being used by our staff 4 weeks post mindful session. Mel, such a pleasure! We look forward to having you along to future team building sessions
