Our Auckland event venue is just 50 minutes drive from Auckland’s CBD and airports will bring you to the picturesque cliff tops of Karioitahi Beach. We are nestled comfortably between these rolling hills, witnessing stunning West Coast sunsets.
With extreme comfort, humble magnificence and breathtaking features, our Glam Camping Venue offers a unique corporate team building group facility on the isolated cliff tops above Castaways Resort.
The Venue
- 12 tents with 24 bedrooms each with split king beds and ensuite bathrooms.
- Capacity of 24 (own room) or 48 (twin share)
- Large conference room marquee
- Large lounge/dining marquee
- Outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, three plate BBQ, spit roast and gas elements
- Outdoor bar area.
- Outdoor stone fire pit area (gas ignition).
- Piano, guitars, giant jenga, soccer table.
- All biodegradable plates/utensils/glasses.
- Designed for all weather and all year-round use.

Is there heating?
Yes, our Glam Camping Venue is made for all seasons. We have an amazing outdoor firepit. Our conference and dining have heaters and blankets to keep you warm and all accommodation rooms have electric blankets. Glam Camping is an outdoor facility, so we do still recommend to bring all your winter woollies to ensure you are cosy for the duration of your stay 😊
Are children allowed to stay at the venue?
Unfortunately, due to our clifftop location and outdoor kitchen we do not permit young children onsite. All guests must be 18 years or older. Glam Camping must be advised if any guest are under 18 years of age prior to the booking confirmation. No children younger than 14yrs old

We truly enjoyed our conference at Glam Camping; it was great to enjoy the outdoors, connect with the team, all still while delivering the content we needed to. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

From start to finish, the glam camping village experience was 10/10. The simplicity of booking through a team with great communication skills, through to the friendly, efficient staff on the day made our event a total success. Our guests were blown away by the facilities, the ‘tents’, the food and the atmosphere of this unique experience. I highly recommend the glam camping village experience for a unique and memorable event – you won’t be disappointed!
