Waiheke is a beautiful and inspiring location for a guided e-bike adventure. It has over 100 beaches, 30 plus vineyards, cute villages with bars, restaurants, gift shops and art galleries. Our guided e-bike adventures will have you up and riding within a matter of minutes, even if you’ve never ridden an e-bike before. We’ll meet your group at the ferry terminal on Waiheke, set you up with high quality e-bikes and helmets, take you through a practice ride and safety briefing and lead you on a guided e-bike adventure to take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful island. We aim to keep you safe by using shared cycle ways and quiet roads, away from the main traffic areas. We’ll stop frequently for you to enjoy the scenery and take as many selfies and team shots as you need!

On route we can stop off for a picnic lunch at the beach and return you to the ferry terminal. Alternatively, your end destination could be a vineyard, restaurant or bar where you can relax and refuel, your e-bikes can be returned to the bike shop and we can arrange a transfer for you to get back to the ferry at the end of your meal.

INTENSITY AND DURATION

E-bikes are the ideal way to see Waiheke Island. The assist levels of the bike take the strain so that you can ascend the hills with ease without breaking into a sweat. The duration of our guided ebike adventures can be as short as 2 hours or as long as half a day. There will be frequent stops at iconic lookout points and beaches. We can make the route as easy or as difficult as you like, depending on your group’s fitness levels and experience.

FOOD AND WINE

Waiheke Island is brimming with great food and wine producers and we can include a tasting experience into your adventure too. It could be wine or beer, whisky or gin. There’s olive oil tasting and the hidden charm of our artisan food producers who create delicious products, inspired by Waiheke’s stunning location and life style.

FERRY TICKETS

We can package up your activity with your return ferry tickets and give you all the options for travel during peak time or off peak time.

Ferries depart from downtown Auckland every half and hour during peak time and every hour during off peak time from 6am until midnight.

Ferries depart from Half Moon Bay approximately every hour from 6am until 7pm. You can choose the departure point and travel time that suits your group and we will provide you with a recommended itinerary and timings when you make an enquiry.
